D-Limonene
Products like D-Limonene are all the buzz these days. Did you know that D-Limonene is a natural, safe, citrus-derived solvent that can be used effectively in household and industrial cleaning products? As a well recognized degreaser and solvent, it is particularly beneficial in producing less irritating hand cleaners. Not surprisingly, there is a real move to incorporate it in pet products, gardener's soaps, and de-greasing hand soaps owing to its incredible cleansing and grease cutting capabilities. Try adding it to your general all purpose spray cleaners. It can be used in all areas of the home including the bathroom, windows, floors, and even for carpet stain spot removal.

Recyclable Packaging.
Choosing eco-friendly recyclable packaging contributes to a cleaner planet, and it also is a great marketing feature. Aluminum and glass packaging is slightly more expensive but pays off in making your product more marketable. With plastic packaging try to pick containers that are fully recyclable. We prefer PET and HDPE containers. Be sure to check out the specials on aluminum and glass containers and try adding them to your product line. Specials |
| Who doesn't want their home to smell as fresh and clean as it looks? Essential oils are an integral part of any natural cleaning regime. Some like Pine, Orange, and Lemon are found in commercial home cleaning products. Others like Rosewood, Tea Tree, and Rosemary were commonly used in the past and are still prevalent in other cultures as anti-microbial and anti-bacterial agents. So stop reaching for toxic germ fighters and try a natural, earth friendly solution. Did you know that Tea Tree oil is the most potent of the natural anti-bacterial essential oils? Use it against all 3 varieties of infectious organism -- bacteria, fungi, and even viruses! To encourage you to incorporate essential oils into your cleaning regiment, Voyageur is pleased to offer sale prices on many of these oils. |

Green can be easy!
Okay, we're fired up to be green! "Natural" cleaning products are HOT, but they can be costly. Why not opt to make your own? The ingredients are safe to use, the recipes tried and true, and yield amazingly effective earth friendly, and family friendly products. Consider Baking Soda. It deodorizes, whitens, softens water and is a good abrasive in scouring powders. Similarly, Borax and Washing Soda are effective disinfectants and cleaning agents that clean, deodorize, and cut through grease. A good, all purpose cleaner is as close away as your bucket of warm water and 1/2 cup of washing soda. Wash, rinse, voila -- dirt and grime be gone! The high PH in Washing Soda does necessitate that gloves be worn to avoid skin irritation, but with no toxic fumes to contend with, that is a small consideration. At Voyageur, we also manufacture a premium Liquid Castile Soap. This natural, olive oil based concentrated liquid soap is commonly used for dish detergents, household cleansers, hand soap, and is even gentle enough for baby wash!
We are also featuring our new, natural silver derived preservative and anti-bacterial agent - Tinosan. At .5% level it turns any natural cleaning product into a germ and bacteria fighter. Check out the product information sheet online at Tinosan Product Info
